Galaxia Numbah 3 Presentation

Hey, guys and girls!

This Saturday, at 8 o'clock in the evening, at LEFIK (5th Ag. Eirinis str., Monastiraki), we'll have a small (re)presentation about the Galaxia comic-book series. I'll be there, signing books, making sketches for everybody, and giving free posters, as the one seen below. This presentation will be more or less a discussion about comics in general, and I'll gladly hear your opinions about what to improve in mine, too.

The Emerald on the Shelves!

First of all, ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ ΑΝΕΣΤΗ!

Secondly, the third Galaxia book is on the shelves of the local bookstores from today. So, if anyone of ya didn't get it at the greek comic convention, go ahead and get it from your friendly neighborhood comic store. Right now!!!

ComicDom Con 2012 Aftermath

First of all, I 'd like to thank you for all the support you 've showed to our booth Comicworld and to me and my new volume. Each time the audience grows by far, and this, my friends, is a very hopeful thing.

This year's ComicDom Con (the biggest, baddest comic-con in Greece) was an interesting insight. It had a lot of new things and many, many workshops and discussions about our profession. The great Milo Manara was the special guest, along side with Mike Carey, Rufus Dayglo, Zara Slattery, Douglas Paszkiewicz and Yildiray Cinar! More info here (greek):

I 've also mentioned that I was going to be a judge for the cosplay contest. Well, that thing was a BEAST! Personally, I was jawdropping all the time, and I 've got to tell you that greek cosplayers have nothing to be jealous of the cosplayers of other countries.

This week's been a little relaxing. After two cons in a row, I think that I've earned it. :)

ComicDom Con 2012 Signing Event

Yet another year has passed and this year's ComicDom Con is just around the corner!

I'll be there as-well, signing the brand new volume of *drums*
"GALAXIA - EMERALD OF OURANOS"!

Signing hours:
Friday 30th March: 18:00-21:00
Saturday 31st March: 14:00-18:00
Sunday 1st April: 11:00-14:00 & 17:00-20:00

The comic-con takes place at the Hellenic American Union at 22nd Massalias str. and you can find me at the Comicworld booth as usual.

Another cool thing that's about to happen there, is the upcoming cosplay competition on Saturday at 19:30. Be sure to check it out! I'm going to be one of the judging committee and we 're about to see a lot of great costumes made with care. =)

"Galaxia - Emerald of Ouranos" is at our local press office, ready for printing. :)

It' ll be available on the Greek comic convention (ComicDom Con 30-31st March and April 1st) located in the Hellenic American Union. Find it in the Comicworld Booth! I'll be there for signing, too.

Some Improvement

Lately it came to me that, all this tinkering with colors the past couple of months, actually made me to understand color theory much better. I guess that I'm improving a bit...

Towards Completion

Galaxia Versus The StarSailors

Salutations, my little gang. Whilst on the making of the 3rd comicbook of the series, I thought I'd cheer you up with this small gag pic.

It's true, the Sailors could attack Galaxia... After all she's synonymous with their arch-enemy... eheheheh...
By the way, the 3rd book is going very well. I've colored around 90 pages by now, but I still have to do some tweaks and corrections. I have to remind you that I'm also on DeviantArt: www.smolb.deviantart.com. There, you can see more cool stuff you may like.

Once again, the Greek Comic Convention is about to begin this Friday at the American-Hellenic Society [22 Massalias str.]. I'll be signing many works this time, such as my 2 Galaxia books, Cronus' Wings and Lion of the Dawn, as also the new 24 hour comics day book, in which I have made an exclusive mini story, its cover, and pin-ups. More specific:

It's Been A While

Hello to all :D

Yeah, I know, it's been a whole month since the last post. I 've taken a small vacation and, with a little jerking around, time extended and became a whole month. Darn, time goes by so fast!

Well, on the other side, good news are that the 2nd volume (which is already on the bookstore shelves) goes well and it has a good feedback. It seems that the obscure past of Ryan, the main character of the 2nd volume, and the epic clash with the Dawn Pirates is an intriguing turn of events :)

Here's some info about the main protagonist of the book:

The official presentation of the book will be announced too, soon. Chances are, that it will take place in The Mall of Athens, alongside with other signings too.
You must also know, that the third volume is in progress already and I'll be posting some pages very soon. ;)

This means that it'll hit the shelves soon too! So get ready to live the next chapter of the story.
